I wrote this song in the end of November 2020 during a period spiritualists call, The Dark Night of the Soul. I'm Reiki attuned and it's teachings include never to despair when hitting the brick walls of life, but rather accept it or change my circumstances.
Also, during the collective upheaval of the pandemic, we were forced to stay indoors so while I was going through an awakening, I'd dance around in my room to all kinds of music and write songs.
It's a juxtaposition to the existential angst I was feeling in the first two lines of the chorus where I start questioning my true life's purpose and make peace with the nature of death in the spoken word at the end.
